SNS is a warm, nurturing preschool haven. The 4 year old program has provided our son with a great deal of warmth, confidence and learning. Through play, songs, stories and friendships children learn to express themselves and how to be a part of a class. By being a parent "helper" we are able to interact with our son and classmates and be involved with his wonderful experiences and watch him learn and grow. The teachers provide a safe environment and gave our son the love of school and learning. What a wonderful place!

Music and Art provide our little learners with the chance to develop multi-sensory skills. Mrs. LoPiccolo's classes nurture creativity in activities such as making and playing shoebox guitars, sing-along's, play with rhythm sticks and other musical instruments, exploring finger paints, markers, clay and more. This program is invaluable for fostering the creative learning that our children deserve.

SNS has been a special part of our lives. Our daughter started the program as a quiet three year old and graduated as a confident five year old. Our son started the three year old program this year. He absolutely loves being in Mrs. Teachout's class. We truly enjoy displaying the beautiful artwork and the schoolwork he brings home. We're so proud of everything he's accomplished and of how well he's developing his classroom skills. It's important to us that our children be a part of a preschool program that encourages love of learning and celebrates our children as they develop the skills they need to be successful in Kindergarten. SNS was the right choice for us!

The SNS 4 year old program encourages cognitive, social and physical development nurtured by experienced teachers in a warm, caring and safe environment. My granddaughter is so happy to see her teacher each day and her increased social skills and enthusiasm for learning are impressive. The school thoroughly prepares 4 year old children for a smooth transition to kindergarten with a strong learning foundation.

As a parent of three children that went to SNS outside of the level of teaching, the welcoming atmosphere and the social experience, the thing that impressed me the most was the opportunity to be able to be in the classroom with my children. As a cooperative, SNS's helping parent days were great for a number of reasons, but most importantly I was able to watch my children interact socially on a level they had never been exposed to, with other students and their teachers. To me this opportunity was and is priceless. SNS provided a great beginning to academic life for our children. Our children love school and we knew that starting them out in the right place would make a world of difference. We are very grateful for the Skaneateles Nursery School.

As a first time pre-school parent I wasn't sure what to expect. What I discovered was a wonderful environment filled with a caring and loving staff. The opportunity to help out in the class also provided insight to what the kids were doing on a daily basis and really helped me feel connected to both the school and my little student.

Our 3rd child loves Mrs. Leonardis. The Writing Without Tears program is a phenomenal addition to the Nursery School Program and is a huge success. The Kindergarten teachers are going to be pleaseantly surprised by what these children know. As a teacher myself, I coudn't be happier.

We are building the foundation for learning here. Setting the example that prental involvement in education is incredibly important and connection the bridge between home and classroom. The opportunity to get involved in our children's education sets a positive tone and is a gift for both the children and parents for years to come.
