The Three-Year Old Program is a child center program. Children will explore create and engage in many structured & unstructured activities. Students learn through play focusing on personal and social growth.
The Four-Year Old Program provides an age appropriate setting and curriculum that preserves the 3's child centered focus in harmony with a more structured learning environment. Teacher directed whole and small group activities will take on greater importance as we prepare our 4's for Kindergarten. Lessons will concentrate on improving fine motor, social, pre-reading and pre-math skills in a balanced literacy environment.
The Four/Five-Old Program provides an age appropriate setting and curriculum designed to meet the needs of our older 4 and 5yr olds in our community. The program is a balance between SNS's child-center approach and developmentally appropriate structured lessons. The curriculum will support the current 4's balanced literacy program making it a natural progression for our students and providing them with the skills they need for Kindergarten.
Fun Fridays (age 3) is a combination of art expression and large motor activities. Children will be able to participate in structured art activities followed by health and fitness group play.
Afternoon Adventures (ages 4 & 5) is a thematic hands on experience where children explore and enjoy unique adventures. This enriching program emerges students in content through fun, imaginative and real life experiences.
Toddlers & Tea is a wonderful experience for children and their caregiver. The first Friday of each month (November-May) SNS opens its doors to pre-preschool aged childrenfor a guided activity, refreshments & snack. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Stop in and play at your leisure 9:30-11:00am.
